Transparent pricing
The goal of Human Touch Health is to provide inclusive, transparent, and accessible pricing. Healthcare is a necessity that should be accessible to all, but it is often complex and comes with hidden fees. Fees and rates are listed upfront to reduce patient stress leading up to appointments and to improve financial well-being for out-of-pocket costs. Additionally, we aim to accept all insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and will work with you to explore what your insurance covers. If any of our patients lack insurance, or using insurance isn’t possible, we offer self-pay. This self-pay amount comes directly from the reimbursement we are paid from insurance and is then set to a discount. We are currently working to adjust our self-pay sliding scale to be as realistic and attainable as possible. If you feel worried about affording care, please talk to Dr. Harker or Gwen with Care Coordination.
Personalized and fair medicine is our passion, something extending to our rates and finances.
Visit costs
Pricing and cost depend on what was covered in the visit, how much time was spent in the visit, and the services provided. Home visits, Telemedicine, and phone follow-ups are all available for the same rates across visit types. Fees are based on codes created by the American Medical Association, not by our group. For self-pay, we have applied a 20% reduction to these fees. The following are cost estimates for visit types. Actual prices are available after visits on our patient portal and may vary. We are working to adjust this sliding scale to be as attainable and realistic as possible.
Insurance Rates Vary
Self Pay (Discounted) Estimates:
New Patient Return Patient
30 min $102 20 min $83
45 min $153 30 min $118
60 min $202 40 min $165
Insurance
We take all common insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid replacements, and commercial plans based in Colorado. As some insurance plans vary state-to -state, so we may not be in network with some out-of-state plans. If your insurance is through another state, either through family or work, please check in with us so we can run your availability before your appointment. Should you contact your insurance company and are unable to find us, we may be found under the name NuvoAir, this is a company we collaborate with for billing and admin tasks. Always contact your insurance to check your benefits and coverage for details on copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Exciting Transitions
We are excited to share that we have joined a physician group called the Boulder Valley Independent Physician Association (Boulder Valley IPA). With Boulder Valley IPA, we are changing our insurance enrollment, which will expand the number of insurance packages we are in-network with. This transition will happen end of June, and should also create more clarity for patients looking for Dr. Harker as an in-network physician.
